A part being quenched

Flow modeling of quench solution with and without walls
Bogh Industries designs complete quench facilities and fluid management systems. By working closely with our customers we will find the most economic solution to a new system or modification to an existing system. The systems can be as simple as one tank -- one concentration system, or as elaborate as multi-concentration and temperature systems. By partnering with Chiller companies and controls companies throughout the industry, we are able to provide the most economic and up-to-date technology to our customers. The systems will be installed by local vendors familiar with the plant and thus the most cost effective. In some cases, the local vendor will be used for manufacturing certain components.

Quench tank design

The design of quench tanks is very important for the properties of the parts after being quenched. By carefully studying and good understanding of the product being quenched, we design new tanks or modify existing tanks to optimum performance.

The use of pumping, eductors, and propeller agitation ensures the optimum parts properties after quench. Field studies and computer modeling has given us the knowledge to most effectively provide the required agitation rates for the product being quenched.
